At Psych. & Spirit® Ministries (PSM), we envision a world where women are equipped and empowered to walk in the fullness of their identities in Christ. We work to cultivate a faith-based communities for emotional and spiritual growth. We strive to develop the skills needed to support a lifestyle of gratitude, prayer, and outreach.

Sisterhood
We aim to cultivate an environment (virtual and in-person) that supports growth, gratitude, and prayer. We value the importance of Godly connections in a safe spaces. Iron sharpens iron!
Misssions
We reach out to the community to build the Kingdom of God accordance with His mandate for this ministry. We provide goods and services free of charge to girls in women in our communities.
Meet Dr.D.
My name is Dr. Dominique Boone (“Dr. D”) and I am a clinical and organizational health psychologist. I am also the Lead Servant of Psych. & Spirit Ministries and I work with Christian churches and faith-based organizations.
In 2018, the Lord led me to start this non-profit organization after things In my own life became quite challenging. I quickly found that self-help tools and my own skills alone were not enough to move me towards the lasting healing I needed in my life.In time, God healed and restored me and I was reminded that true restoration can only be found in our Lord. I also became keenly aware that had I turned to the Lordandbeen equipped with practical tools and biblical truths, my journey may have looked very different.
This revelation made my mandate clear! From that time forward, the Lord has led and guided me in establishing Psych. & Spirit Ministries.Over the past decade, the Lord has uniquely equipped me for this mandate.
I am certified in Spiritual First Aid.
I have held several church leadership roles to include leading on the intercessory prayer team, leading on the guest experience team (teaching a foundations of our faith style class), and establishing and leading on the spiritual care and biblical counseling team.
I have been blessed by God to develop of the “S.O.U.L. Work framework” to provide spiritual care and biblical counseling.
I have authored the Rise & Thrive workbook.
I am the recipient of the First Baptist Church Denbigh Trailblazer Award, and more!
Of all the titles I have been graced to obtain, the most important and the only one that will last is that of Child of God! I am honored to be His daughter, in service to Him… all praises and glory to God.

I promote the organizational health and development of churches and/or faith-based organizations by creating or enhancing spiritual care and counseling related ministries and services, establishing recovery-focused small groups, and developing resources. I also provide training and education to church and organization leadership, staff, and congregants. Additionally I support church leaders in responding well to individuals facing mental health challenges using my S.O.U.L. work framework for spiritual care.
